The annual Mass Bay Railway Enthusiast Snow Train proceeded from South Station Boston "on its way to Bellow Falls, Vermont. Many detrained at Brattleboro for eating and shopping" while the more hard core enthusiasts continued to Bellow Falls. Options there were a Vermont Railroad trip to Chester or a tour the the Flying Yankee Restoration Process. The Flying Yankee which you may have seen in our Edaville page is scheduled to reappear under power later this year. The engine is now ready to be rebuilt. The entire train is stripped to its chassis but all the original parts have been remilled and reconstruction can begin from the ground up. Please note our homepage link to the project.
