The Mattapan High Speed Line runs from Ashmont Station (Red Lines) to Mattapan Square. It is officially part of the Red Line. It goes through cemeteries and crosses roads where the trolley must stop. This is the only MBTA line that still uses the old PCC (Presidential Conference Cars). This is no fare required from Ashmont so if you wish to ride it board at Ashmont and plan to be picked up at Mattapan Square.
