The Wildcat Division as I believe it was once known is a stretch of track that connects the Haverill and Lowell Commuter Lines on the Amtrak Boston North Side Service. Should one leave Haverill Southbound at rush hour rather than taking the normal route thru Reading the train uses the Wildcat track from Wilmington Junction(Haverill Line) to Wilmington(Lowell Line). This track which is not yet pictured here runs thru marshes and subdivisions at a leasurely pace. The reason for this route is that the train avoids outbound traffic at this peak time which uses the single track Northbound route. Have the mileage now must go back for photos. Any will be appreciated.
